“Children are our hope and future. If we can break the chain of homelessness, we give them an opportunity at a new future.” – Patty Phillips, Chair/Co-chair of Hearts for Hope.
On any given night in LA County, close to 20,000 women and children are sleeping on the street or in places unsuitable for humans to live. Women and children now make up 40% of all people experiencing homelessness. Hope Gardens Family Center offers a two year program for these women and children in an effort to help them find their way home.
For many years, Patty Phillips has Chaired and co-Chaired multiple fundraising events for this worthwhile organization. Hope Gardens is affiliated with the Union Rescue Mission. For more information, please call 213.347.6311 or visit the Hearts of Hope Website.
